小雪のTwitterを見ている方はすでにご存じかもしれませんが、小雪の様子がおかしいので病院に連れていったところ大動脈に血栓症＋胸水もたまっていて入院となりました。
「今夜がヤマかも」という言葉にハラハラして待っていたら……翌日「乗り切った」と獣医師さんから連絡が！
Some of you who follow Koyuki on Twitter might know already, but Koyuki was hospitalized for having aortic thrombosis and pleural effusion.
I was very nervous when the veterinarian said, "The coming night will be critical." Thankfully, the veterinarian called the next day and said, "She survived!"
数日入院して、小雪が帰宅しました。おかえりなさい、小雪さん！

おうちに着くと、ここから全然動かず寝ています。

後ろ足がピンとのびているのは、血栓が後ろ足の付け根にあったせいで、力が入らなかったから。
Her hind leg was stretched out because the thrombus was found at the upper part of her hind leg and she couldn’t move it.
そして退院して2日目。

昨日よりは余裕がありそうですが、まだまだ油断できません。カリカリを口元に持っていくとプイッと顔をそらします。
She looked better than the day before, but it was still far from normal. I brought some dry cat food to her mouth, but she just looked away.

退院して3日目。
ちょっと鼻の色もよくなってきたかな〜……オヤツはわりと食べてくれました。

まだあんまり調子がよくなさそうなのに、なぜか荷造りの邪魔はしてきます（笑）

退院4日目になると、ほんの少しだけカリカリをもぐもぐ。

もっとしっかりごはんを食べてくれたらな〜と思っていたら…自分からごはんを催促してきました！
カリカリをお皿にいれるとガツガツ。

後ろ足に力が入らずジャンプするのも難しかった小雪ですが、今ではお気に入りの場所でこの表情。いつもの調子が戻ってきたと思います。
She couldn’t even jump onto the chair at first because she couldn’t use her hind leg. But now, look at her sitting at her favorite place with the proud expression on her face! I think her condition is back to normal again.

小雪は来年10才。シニア猫ですし尿石症も患っています。より一層、健康面に気をつけなくては。
お薬を飲むのは大変ですが、いっしょにがんばりましょう〜！

I know it’s tough to swallow the medicine, but let’s overcome this together, Koyuki!
